* At the start of the season, the New York Jets were predicted to win no more than 3 or 4 games. On Sunday they moved to 5-4 with an impressive win over the New Orleans Saints. The Saints however, appear to be getting cold at the wrong time.

* There is one undefeated team left in the NFL this season, and it’s the same team that finished with just two wins last year. Led by Andy Reid and Alex Smith, the Kansas City Chiefs just keep winning….standing tall at an impressive 9-0 so far.

* The New England Patriots piled up 55 points and 610 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was far and away the Patriots' best offensive showing of the season. It was also the most most the Steelers have ever allowed in either category this year.

* Congratulations to Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who on Sunday became the six QB in NFL history to throw for 7 TD passes in one game during the 49-20 beating of the Oakland Raiders. Foles joins an elite class that includes NFL legends Y.A. Tittle, George Blanda, and Peyton Manning.

* 23-year-old Eric Rivera, Jr. has been found guilty of second degree murder in the 2007 killing of late Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor. Rivera had originally been charged with first-degree murder, but still could face life in prison despite the second-degree verdict.

* Dolphins OL Richie Ingognito remains suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. Incognito is said to be at the head of a series of ongoing bullying incidents against fellow lineman Jonathan Martin that include threatening and even racially charged texts and voicemails.

* The Denver Broncos have named Jack Del Rio their interim head coach while John Fox is out of action. Fox is expected to miss several weeks as he recovers from an aortic heart valve replacement. Del Rio will also continue his role as the team's defensive coordinator.

* Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed on the field during Sunday night’s game against the Colts. He was tended to by medical officials on the field and taken to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery

* Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken left collarbone in Monday Night’s 27-20 loss to the Chicago Bears. Terrible news at the midway point of the season, as the injury that could sideline him into December.

* Browns receiver Greg Little came up BIG in Sunday’s 21-18 win over the Baltimore Ravens. After earning a reputation as drops-prone (28 drops in 3 seasons), Little caught seven of nine passes thrown his way for 122 yards. No touchdowns, but an undeniable contribution.
