* Congrats to Ben Roethlisberger, who was voted the AFC player of the week for week 11. Despite a weak offensive line (and the ugliest uniforms of all time), Big Ben threw for an impressive 367 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions in a 37 – 27 win over the Lions.

* The Ravens weren’t the only obstacle that the Bears had to overcome at home this past Sunday. With 4:51 left in the first quarter, the skies opened up and the fields were cleared. Players and fans were told to take cover as swirling winds and heavy rains delayed play for almost two hours.

* As week 11 officially came to a close, the NFL was left with no more undefeated teams. The Denver Broncos served the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the year with a 27 – 17 win at home in Denver on Sunday night. The division rivals are now tied atop the AFC West at 9-1.

* The red hot Panthers won their sixth straight with a controversial 24 - 20 victory over the Patriots on Monday night. Tom Brady moved New England to the Carolina 18 with 3 seconds left. Rob Gronkowski was held and a flag was thrown in the end zone but then picked up as time expired.

* In Buffalo, the Bills roughed up Jets rookie quarterback Geno Smith in a lopsided 37 – 14 win at home. The New York Jets became the first team in league history to go 5 – 5 by alternating wins and losses through their first 10 games of the season.

* Oakland rookie Matt McGloin was so good in a 28 – 23 victory over the Houston Texans that it actually raised questions about whether Terrelle Pryor will get his job back when he's healthy. The undrafted

free agent threw three touchdown passes in his first NFL start.

* The Dolphins won for only the second time in the past seven games after a surprising 20 – 16 win over the Chargers despite a dreadful defeat last Monday at Tampa Bay and the distractions of the Incognito harassment case. The Chargers dropped their third game in a row.

* Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin made his highly anticipated Seattle debut after missing the first 10 weeks of the regular season following hip surgery. He worked mostly as an offensive decoy, but his two touches helped Seattle improve to 10-1 and stay on top of the NFC headed into their bye week.

* After starting the season at a disappointing 0-5, the New York Giants recorded their fourth straight win in a 27-13 victory over the Green Bay Packers. Jason Pierre-Pauls’ 4th quarter interception return for a touchdown helped seal the deal for big blue.

* With his 4th quarter catch on Sunday, Pittsburgh Tight End Heath Miller became the sixth Steeler to break the 5,000 yard career receiving mark. Miller joins an elite class that includes Hines Ward, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Elbie Nickel, and Louis Lipps.
