Inside The Huddle: Previews and Predictions for All of the Games Going on Around the NFL in week 10!

by Donald "Duckie" McDermott

Oakland Raiders at New York Giants
X’s and O’s: The Giants are coming off their bye week looking to gain some momentum after a disastrous first half of the season. The Raiders look to bounce back after giving up seven touchdowns to Nick Foles and the Eagles one week ago.
Duckie’s Luckies: Giants do just enough to win.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
X’s and O’s: Sorry to say it, but the Jaguars have a legitimate shot at going 0-16 for the season. Jake Locker is healthy again for the Titans and RB Chris Johnson had a breakout game a week ago. A win here could put Tennessee in the hunt for a wildcard spot in the AFC.
Duckie’s Luckies: Chris Johnson and the Titans run to victory.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons
X’s and O’s: It may be a rematch of last year’s divisional playoff game, but the Falcons are hardly the same team today that won that game a season ago. The Seahawks head to the Georgia Dome with an eye on getting back to their physical ways against an Atlanta team that can’t wait for this season to be over.
Duckie’s Luckies: Birds from the west fly higher than the birds from the east.

Buffalo Bills at Pittsburgh Steelers
X’s and O’s: As a life-long Steelers fan, it was gut-wrenching to watch them get give up 610 yards and 55 points to the Patriots in week 9. Not to mention the upset loss to the Raiders in week 8. Luckily this week they face a Bills team that has a plethora of its own issues to deal with.
Duckie’s Luckies: Steelers D helps them stand tall at home.

Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers
X’s and O’s: Losing receiver after receiver to injury, it had been up to Packers QB Aaron Rodgers to hold the offense together. Now Rodgers is on the shelf and that is not a good sign against a team that posted seven touchdowns a week ago.
Duckie’s Luckies: Even without their QB, Packers get the W.

St. Louis Rams at Indianapolis Colts
X’s and O’s: When QB Sam Bradford went down for the Rams a few weeks back, I thought it was all over for the Rams. Backup Kellen Clemens has been playing at a pretty high level though. But the Colts are still the Colts, Andrew Luck is still their leader, and they’re still at home.
Duckie’s Luckies: Colts roll over the struggling Rams.

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens
X’s and O’s: With a win over their division rivals the Ravens this week, and then the Browns next week, the Bengals should have the AFC North all sewn up. The Ravens have been struggling on offense all season long and look anything like the team that won it all a season ago.
Duckie’s Luckies: Bengals take down the reigning champs.

Denver Broncos at San Diego Chargers
X’s and O’s: Last week the Chargers came within a heartbreaking six inches of beating the Redskins. The Broncos continue to thrive on offense, which is a good thing since their offense gives up a lot of points. Should be an interesting matchup for Rivers and his receivers.
Duckie’s Luckies: Peyton & Co. earn a tough division win.

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears
X’s and O’s: With the Packers and Bears dealing with an array of injuries, the Detroit Lions have a chance to step up in the NFC North. The Lions are rested after coming off their bye week, while the Bears are on short rest. Detroit dominated the first meeting between these two this season.
Duckie’s Luckies: Lions move to the top of the heap in NFC North.

Houston Texans at Arizona Cardinals
X’s and O’s: People expected the Houston Texans to be good this season, but instead they've stumbled toward the top of the draft instead of the AFC standings. Nobody expected the Arizona Cardinals to compete in a tough NFC West division, but instead it looks like they could be pushing for the final Wild Card berth.
Duckie’s Luckies: Cardinals find a way over spiraling Texans.

Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Bucs
X’s and O’s: The Dolphins have been in the middle of a lot of talk this week. Unfortunately for them, very little of it has been about their game with the Bucs. You have to wonder if all of the Incognito drama will effect the team. Not to mention the Dolphins are now without two of their starting O-linemen.
Duckie’s Luckies: Bucs earn their first win of the season.

Carolina Panthers at San Fransisco 49ers
X’s and O’s: Cam Newton and the Panthers have quietly become one of the hottest teams in football as of late. Not quite as quietly, the Niners have become one of the best teams in football. Can the Panthers keep up their new-found winning ways on the road?
Duckies Luckies: Niners on top in a tough one.

Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints
X’s and O’s: The Saints showed last week against the Jets that they are a much different team on the road than they are at home. The Cowboys are a pass-first team and defending the pass is the strength of Rob Ryan’s aggressive defense.
Duckie’s Luckies: Hard to pick against Brees in a shootout.
