Avengers Sequel Gets a Name and Villain
By Jesse Berberich

Early today, Marvel Studios and Joss Whedon revealed major details about the follow up to the mega-successful Avengers flick during their panel at Comic Con Internation (held in the famous Hall H). Specifically, we've got a name, logo. and villain:

For those who do not know, Age of Ultron is also the name of the most recent event in Marvel Comics, a story that sees Ultron, one of the Avengers and Marvel Universe's deadliest foes, enslave the Earth, leaving time travel and paradoxes as the only way for the heroes to come out victorious. Since Hank Pym (Ant-Man/Giant-Man/Yellowjacket), the man responsible for Ultron's creation, is a focal point of this comic, this could mean that the character will likely make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut with this film. And while no mention of him was made during the panel, Vin Diesel, who has been rumored to be in talks for a role in an upcoming Marvel film, is now heavily rumored to be playing Ultron. Whatever the casting news and further plot details that will come out over the next few weeks and months, Avengers: Age of Ultron will no doubt be an exciting new installment into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
