Ya know, I am definitely feeling motivated these days. My head was in a pretty bad place emotionally for a little while there. But I think I am back on track again. Doing well with food, running every morning and getting in a little work every night too. I am even writing again. Really feels good to be back headed in the right direction. HOWEVER, I have to say that for tonight, my evening workout is going to be put on the back burner.  Got home from deliveries around 5am this morning. Fell asleep somewhere around 5:30am and was up bright and early to meet the work day at 8:30am.



On top of that, it’s that time of year where I have to get my car inspected again. And since I put so much wear and tear on my trusty mini cargo van for work all year long, it is never a simple “you passed” and I am out the door. There is always some work that needs to be done. So I dropped the car off first thing this morning and told them I would be back to pick it up in the afternoon. I popped in my ear buds, turned on my ipod and walked home from the garage. According to the endomondo app on my phone, it was a 2.5 mile walk from the garage and I burned just under 250 calories. Not a bad way to start off the day.



Around lunchtime I went out for my daily 3 mile run and burned off another 400 calories. And last but not least, I had to go back and get my car before picking Meghan up for her swimming class. So I set a quick pace for myself and walked another 2.5 miles to the garage. Oh, and since no good deed ever goes unpunished, it started POURING right after I left my house….whatever. So my grand total for the day was 5 miles walked, three miles jogged, 900 calories burned. Pretty good if I do say so myself…especially when you consider I did it all on about three hours sleep. And speaking of sleep, it is that time for me. I do believe I have earned it.
