Okay, so as I am typing this I am eating the most AMAZING plate of chicken wings….and french fries. And I think I am going to stop right this blog today…and my fitness journey altogether.

APRIL FOOOOOOL!!!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I have been waiting more than 40 days to say that. Sorry for messin’ with ya. For future reference, I don’t eat chicken wings. Too much work for not enough meat….and fries really aren’t my thing anymore either. But anyway, back to reality. I really have to tell you that the past few days have been one big blur to me. I have dealt with camps, tutoring programs, softball fields, churches, rehab centers, printing warehouses, and Easter Sunday. Not to mention the fact that the LIE and I are on a first name basis. Unfortunately, sleep and I are not. So I dragged my weary old bones off the couch this morning after only about 4 or so hours of sleep.

And tired and achy, I limped towards the scale. Well I only lost a pound and a half….ugh. I am guessing that yesterday being Easter Sunday…..and me not sleeping very much the past few days….have a lot to do with that. And I gotta tell ya….there are times when I would get really angry over not losing as much weight as I would have liked….but today I am just too darn tired to be discouraged. I am going to head down to the man cave for a quick workout….because tired or not….I need this. Then it’s out the door yet again for another night of deliveries. Don’t worry….I promise to get some sleep….eventually.

Before I sign off….want to send birthday wishes out to friends Duck and Chris Petras….both born on April Fool’s Day.

Also wishing the Yankees luck on what will hopefully be another Championship season. Hopefully today’s beating from the Red Sox does not reflect the year ahead.
