Did you ever wonder where the term “Happy Hump Day” comes from? People say it all the time…but I get the impression they don’t really know why. Nor do they seem to care. Lol. Oh well….Happy Wednesday either way. And a very Happy Passover too, for those who celebrate. Not a whole lot to talk about tonight I am sad to say. I guess it was bound to happen. Even I run out of things to talk about from time to time. Who’d a thunk it? On a positive note, I am happy to report that I have been good all week so far in both my food choices and physical activity.
Not STELLAR I suppose, but I have yet to go over the 2,000 calorie limit this week AND I have been pretty good at keeping myself moving. And in an attempt to better myself on ALL levels of my life…not just where food and exercise are concerned…I enrolled myself in a Parenting Class at the church in our area. Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm. Meg plays downstairs while I take notes on the potential nightmares a parent faces upstairs. She definitely got the better part of this deal…lol.
Tonight was session numero 2. Not bad….informative in some ways. Had just enough time afterwards to come home…have baked chicken thighs with a baked potato and applesauce for dinner….and knock out my blog for the day. And now it is off to the city of Manhattan…where I will attempt to bring copies of PARENTGUIDE to the masses with the help of my trusty sidekick, Cody. Never a dull moment folks. Okay, so there are PLENTY of dull moments…but at least they are MY moments. That’s gotta count for something, right?
